Science Blogs

Great blogs I frequent which feature an outstanding mix of news on science, laws,
culture, politics and, of course, religious nutjobs, all of which are delivered with a thick
slice of humor. The comments sections on these blogs are exceptional as well, frankly,
because it's a science blog. You're not going to find the average, vapid, annoying
responses you would expect from an average blog. The responses are frequently just as
informative, cutting and funny as the blogs themselves. Great source for news you just
don't get in newspapers, and on television programs, because the finer points of
mainstream journalism are now in their death throws. There is an abundance of quality
information and entertainment here, provided you have some morbid curiosity regarding
the phurious, phunky, phucknut, phundamentalist phlock of phuckwits.

Pharyngula
PZ Myers' blog. This is the infamous, heathen, biology professor whom the head of The
Catholic League wanted drawn and quartered for, GASP, defiling a fucking communion
wafer. Also, every once in a while, he'll go off on a rant, and I've never seen anyone rant
better. It must be a gift from God. Honestly, a communion wafer?

Dispatches From The Culture Wars
Ed Brayton's blog. Ed is another biology professor, and like PZ's blog, this one is full of
quality news, information and humor. The blog has a lot of humor and the response
sections are equally spectactular.
Social Groups And Forums
Some godless social groups and forums I frequent.

Atheist Nexus
Atheist Nexus. A community of nontheists. I really enjoy this group. First, everyone has
there own home page to post there own images, thoughts, ideas, or to post nothing
whatsoever, similar to a godless Facebook. The part I really like, though, is the groups.
There are social groups, science interests, forums, humor sections. I have found a wealth
of really funny stuff in the Cynics and Atheist Humor groups here.

Ex Christian Net Forums
ExChristian.Net-Forums. The title on this one, I think, is fairly self explanatory. It's for
those poor, twisted, unlucky bastards who were raised by fundamentalists and have to
forever suffer the pschological scars. OK, mostly kidding there, but seriously, I was raised
Southern Baptist and still remember laying awake at night when I was about 12 years old
worrying about burning in hell because I masturbated that day. And these are the people
who think they know something about morality? Sheeeeeeeeeeeit, Fundy, please!
